Humble Beginnings
In 1976 a young Gao Dekang began creating quality down
clothing in the village of Shanjing, Southern China. Sure of
his craft and ready to accept more orders, Dekang rode
his bicycle 80km to Shanghai where he demonstrated his
skill by creating a pair of men’s trousers in 17 minutes
and a pair of ladies’ trousers in 15 minutes. It’s from
these simple beginnings that Bosideng has grown into a
global brand
Heritage
From its birth in the People’s Republic of China,
Bosideng’s unwavering commitment to quality and
innovation has assisted it in becoming the leading down
apparel brand in China, with its clothing sought around
the world. Its jackets have graced both ends of the earth,
used by explorers of both the Arctic and Antarctic. The
Bosideng brand is now embarking on a journey of
growth, beginning with its introduction into Europe.
